The Hired Chef’s owners, Marty and Tina Gillum, are passionate about providing the finest homemade meals to busy individuals and families. Both long-time veterans of the restaurant industry, Marty and Tina actually discovered the demand for personal chef services while operating an in-home childcare business for 14 years.
While operating their childcare business, Marty and Tina witnessed the busy demands of career, children and extracurricular activities placed on parents. At the end of each busy day, parents would come to pick up their children while Tina was cooking dinner. They would “jokingly” state how they wished they could pick up their dinner at the same time they picked up their child.
That’s when they decided to find a way to help busy individuals and families who lack the time for preparing balanced, home-cooked meals. With a lifetime of cooking experience, both professionally and as a hobby, they launched The Hired Chef personal chef services to help families like yours, one meal at a time.
